I use ZoneAlarm. Its free for personal use and is exceptional. It allows you to tell IT what programs can access the Internet. There is not a day goes by that I do not get several intruders trying to get into my
computer network and ZoneAlarm stops them. If you would like a copy it can be had at http://www.zonealarm.com/

I highly recommend it and no I don't work for them or receive any compensation whatsoever. I just like the product.
