I have a Toshiba Satellite A105-S4004 that I upgraded to Windows 10 last night and it seems to be working OK. My advise is to see if you can go out to Windows 10 and see it you can get it to upgrade. The reason I put the question on the mail list is because I want to upgrade my main computer. I figured I would try it on the laptop and if it did not work, not much lost. I would just go back to Windows 7. Have you upgraded to Windows 10. Any issues??

I dusted off my Toshiba Satellite S509 that I bought new in 2009 to see if it will work with Windows 10 and give to a friend who is w/o a computer. I thought it had Windows 7 Pro on it, but it is actually Windows Vista Home Premium, which won't even update any more. I am not a laptop person. I bought it thinking I would use it away from the house, but never really liked it all that much.
To some of you who are more laptop savvy, do I now own a good doorstop, or is there any good use for it now?
