Re: Win10 Safe Mode issues

Posted by: dwmartens <dwmartens@...>

If you can boot normally, press WinKey-R and the "Run" box should come up.  In the Run box type: msconfig . When that program comes up click the "boot" tab.  At the bottom are a several options.  Check: Safe boot , and select any of the options you want to include in safe boot.  Reboot and you should be in safe mode.  To return to regular boot, repeat the steps above, but uncheck Safe boot, the reboot.

Hope this helps,
Dennis

Trying to boot into Safe Mode, but can’t. Both the Startup Options and Startup Repair options simply go to blank screens, requiring a hardware reboot. I have tried Googling the issue, but only find instructions on how to get into Startup Options and Startup repair, which I know…it’s just not working.

Any ideas?
