So glad to hear you enjoyed the book. I haven't read that one. Currently, I'm reading A Sugar Creek Christmas by Jenny Jones. It's a light, Christmas read.~Cecelia Dowdy~Chesapeake Weddings - available now!

This year, since Christmas was on a Friday, we were off Wednesday the 23rd until today. Since I’m a local library trustee, on the 23rd, I did an assessment with the staff that we needed to get done for the state. While there, I was able to pick up a new book to read over the holiday. It was a Christian historical fiction, set in England in the 1800s. The Painter’s Daughter, by Julie Klassen. Quite interesting and I really enjoyed it – finished it last night, even though it was 450+ pages.
