Dear Sandi,
I've never attended a church where the woman took part in a leadership role.
My reasons are the scriptures below. If you have any questions, feel free to
ask.

ICor 14:34
NIV ~(34) Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed
to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. (35) If they want to
inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it
is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

KJV~(34) Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted
unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also
saith the law. (35) And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their
husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

I Tim 2:11-12
NIV ~(11) A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. (12) I do
not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be
silent.

KJV ~ (11)Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. (12)But I
suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be
in silence.

Blessings,
Tracey
