my Sei are about an inch wide and I think they sound
great.However, I'm wondering if there are other things you can
do before going to the time and expense of dropping in
new pickups - eg:- change your hand position and playing style
- adjust the tone controls
- adjust the amp settings
- add an outboard unit (like the Sans Amp Bass Driver DI
... much as I love my Barts, I love them even more
through this thing)Even the SABDDI solution will be cheaper and more
flexible than buying and installing a new set of pickups!Wulf

Unrelated to the pick up thing, but have you tried moving

I'm not sure about tonal differences - the twin Barts on
