Re: History Channel's "The Bible"

I've watched both weeks. I've been fairly impressed so far. Obviously some things had to be edited and streamlined to fit the format that they are presenting in. But they've done a marvelous job of communicating 1). reliance on God, and 2). that God is the hero of the story. Those, to me, are the crucial points of the Old Testament; reader, meet God. 
I was not okay with Moses' interaction with God at the bush. The two spies in Jericho probably didn't end up fighting. But it served the purpose of them needing a place to hide.
Other than those two (fairly small) things, I've been very impressed. I intend to purchase it when it becomes available.
