RE: Some new, some old topics

Personally, I have NO problem with non-human Lightraiders. It helps bring a players imagination into play, especially if they read The Narnia books and/or the Lord of The Rings. These races also offer some really nifty setting tools for AM's in that they demand some consideration of the cultures.

Subject: [DragonRaid] Some new, some old topics

Why don't we start discussing these items?  This list has been too quite as of late.

Let's start with the possibility of playing nonhuman LightRaiders.  If you have not seen it, I have some basic rules for playing dwarves, elves and gnomes on my website at http://www.lightspring.com/dr2nded/nohuman.htm .

I would think that the real question is "Should nonhuman LightRaiders be allowed?" rather than can they be in the game.  The AM has to decide whether to allow it in his group and why.

By the way, I believe that "hobbit" is trademarked, so, no, they will not be in the game.  Now halflings are another matter 😉
