I'm sitting here a bit stunned. I had promised to get the information from
my friend regarding the place to send your wool to be made into blankets.
She calls me almost daily. I finally remembered to ask her for the address
today. She said she would not give it to me! I've been so used to the free
sharing of info that frankly I was stunned. She said that I could send my
wool in with hers and have my own blankets made but she would not give me
the address to send it in on my own or for me to give to others. That she
has spent hours researching this information and she is not going to share
it. That due to the fact I've helped her so much she shared it with me but
she is going to open her own business with an internet site and if every
homeschooling mom in the country knew where to get this stuff done she
wouldn't have a business to advertise. Frankly, I'm stunned. I felt
somewhat used and hurt. I am so sorry that I can't fulfill the what I said
I would do. For the next couple of weeks I must clean this place up and
finish the remodling before my in-laws get here but after that I'm going to
spend some time doing some RESEARCH of my own. If someone else gets the
info before that please post to the whole group. I'd also be interested in
the least expensive place you can find to do have your wool made into bats
for quilts. I know there are several places that do it.

Something I do remember is that she told me the blanket folks were like in
Connecticut or Maine....Deanna
