Re: [ANN] New list member. Welcome Ari!

Hello there!
I've tried Swift and got frustrated though I was able to cobble together a couple of simple apps. Don't like Xcode. I made the horrible mistake of trying Object Pascal with a cocoa bridge -- lots of hassle for nothing.
More recently, I've been using Purebasic, which is a cross-platform product. It is super easy to write and maintain pretty performant code though to do anything that I'm specifically interested in requires API calls and some other kludges to build Mac executables cleantly.
There is a built-in cocoa bridge that can do most things but it requires deep knowledge of how Cocoa works, which I generally don't have though between mining various forums, studying others' code and my own experiments I have developed a decent library of routines that has allowed to progressively create better, more capable apps with a high degree of consistency across them (not quite full-fledged modules but a lot of reusable code).
That said, I'm interested in FB because it appears to have direct ways to access most of macOS that PureBasic will likely never have. Syntactically it also seems a lot closer to Objective-C and Swift...

Please welcome him when you have a chance.
Welcome Ari! I know you'll enjoy your time here.
I took some time to review the suite of utilities you've written. I'm curious if you're using Swift, Objective-C or some other API.
Best,
Ken
