dear pat,
i didn't realize the angoras came in colors!? my almost 13 yr old raises
jersey woolys, and we blend their fiber with our shetland wool.... they
don't take near the care that the angoras do, so they were a nice match for
her.... 🙂
where are you located? what kind of goats do you have? i don't write much
as we are usually swamped with things to do, but with marci offline and not
responding, i thought i'd reach out and say hi.... i do read all the prayer
requests, and pray for those on the list, but skip over a lot of other
posts... just couldn't resist the one on the bunny 😉
when you are in the market for shetlands, let me know, and i can help you
find a breeder close by, or better yet, come visit marci and i in the
spring, and i'll see if we can fix you up 🙂
only by his merciful grace - rachel

Subject: [HomeSteadHeaven] A new bunnyToday I went and bought myself a new English Angora Bunny.
She is beautiful, a nice chocolate doe, just 5 months old.
I am so anxious to get spinning her wonderful hair. The
woman who owned her was a joyful Christian and so nice
to spend the afternoon with. Now I just need to get my
shetland sheep and I will feel complete animal wise. Well,
maybe one more milk goat ! Maybe this year we will have
a couple does born to us. Last year seemed to be a buck year.We take our goats in the car quite often, as we pack with them.
One of our goats, Jean Pierre is 250 lbs and stand well over 6 ft
when he stand on his back legs, and he looks pretty huge in
our car. We get so many funny looks.Pat
