Re: BEWARE! Wimple Crocheters!

Posted by: mrsmcole <mrsmcole@...>

My Dear Dana...

I missed something..how did you injure you knee crocheting? Was it crossed
all that time? I sure could understand that. You must have been
concentrating!! I will have to remember the crocheters knee..I love to
crochet! I am teaching myself to knit now. I found a nice sock pattern. I
love homemade wool socks.

I hope and pray your knee is better soon!!

Love, Sharon

I started crocheting a wimple yesterday. I got a nice fall colored,
variegated yarn and just plunged into it. Alas, I was not aware of the
danger that lurked nearby.

I settled into my rocker with my feet propped comfortably on the glider
ottoman and rocked and crocheted and rocked and crocheted. When I went to
get up and hour later, my knee was hurt! I thought it was just twisted and
stiff. Noooooooooooo!

I got up this morning and it was worse! Went to the doc this afternoon. Its
a muscle strain. Will be well soon.

He asked how I hurt it. I told him that its a crocheting injury.
HEHEHEHEHE! He laughed too! As a matter of fact, he continued laughing
until I left. He said, "Its my old crocheting injury bothering me." It is
so funny!!!!!!

So beware dear ladies! That crochet knee can be fairly painful and
certainly inconvenient!

Laughing,
Dana
