Re: bottomless pit boys

My son will turn 15 in about a month. Here are some things I have done in
the past and probably need to do again. It's sort of bugging me to have him
rummaging through the cupboards and fridge. He's not rude about it. I
guess it bother me is God's way of getting me on the stick to get some
things going again.

Spinach Pies:

Any whole wheat bread dough. Roll out into circles about 1/2 inch thick.
Spread the following mixture on half the circle, fold circle in half and
seal edges. Bake on a cookie sheet until bread dough is done. These keep
well in the freezer and can be thawed or microwaved straight from the
freezer.

Saute in a skillet some olive oil, spinach, onions & garlic. The quantity
depends on how full you want your pies and how many you are making. Put
about two tsp. of the mix into each pie. I really like the can collard
greens better but they are hard to find here in my area.

I also make those pizza pocket things too.

Having lots of granola and goat milk on hand.

Quesadias (sp?)....tortilla topped with cheese and then topped with another
tortilla. You can throw toppings in but I find my son will eat just as much
regardless if I make them with nice toppings or just plain. He's not picky
about his food he just likes the food part. He's rather burned out on
muffins and quick breads. Deanna
