The Black Forest Fire in Colorado was about one mile from my brother's house yesterday. The fire started at 15 acres, this morning it was 8,000. If the wind hadn't shifted, my brother and family would have been evacuated and the house probably would have burned. They are renting......just moved in a week ago. When we were in Colorado for Christmas, we drove on the road that is now in the middle of the fire. That area is full of very nice homes...many which burned yesterday. Dean said they could see the gray and white smoke everywhere, then when a house would burn, the smoke would be completely black. Lisa NM
