Re: Country Living Mill..

Sharon,

We almost motorized our CLGM when we lived in Indiana. At the time it was
the only grain mill I owned. I had traded my Magic Mill grain mill to the
gal that boarded my goats in TN and since I didn't have regular electricity
in our Amish house it didn't make sense to keep the MM. I honestly thought
we were staying in Indiana for a long time. (Must say I sometimes long for
the simple life we lived there. I keep trying to get back to it here and it
just isn't working.) I did know people in TN that motorized theres and it
worked great. I did check with the folks from CLGM and they said if you
motorize the unit it will void it's warranty. I don't know if this is still
true but it's what the guy told me on the phone. I know it's sounds silly
but for now it's just a whole lot easier to grind with my Whisper Mill.
Maybe when I get the fences back up I'll be able to live without all the
electric appliances again. Glad to see you here Sharon. You will find this
list to be a wonderful kind group of ladies....Deanna
