There is nothing like it. It is the greatest work in the world, the most thrilling, the most exciting, the most rewarding, the most wonderful. I know of nothing comparable to the feeling one has as one walks up the steps of one’s pulpit with a fresh sermon on a Sunday morning or a Sunday evening, especially when you feel that you have a message from God and are longing to give it to the people. This is something that one cannot describe.

Did she dry it in the sun or in a dehydrator?

We have 4 rows of corn and the bees are in the tassels, so I will have to

care for it soon.

We have a garden that keeps us busy and I have 13 hens that keep me

entertained.

Right now my little 14 yr. old dog "Missy" says it is time to shut the

chickens in. She reminds me every evening at the appropriate time.

My mom dried corn for years. Blanche it, then run a knife down the rows of

kernals to split them open. Cut off the cob and dry. It's really good.

Some people here call it Indian corn.
