Thanks ladies for all your advice! I have owned different breeds of goats
but did find the Saanens to have the best milk and the Nubians to be the most
stubborn and hard to deal with. A friend of mine has offered to give us one
of her nannies and the daughter. My friend has more goats than she wants so
I think I will take her up on it. She said they are both very good natured
and didn't give her any trouble.
As for my favorite mouth waterer from the garden I'd be hard pressed to
decide between yellow crookneck squash and butterbeans (for all you
southerners you will appreciate that butterbeans are NOT limas -- and oh so
good!!!) I'm originally from South Carolina and like to try to grow some
good soul food in my garden -- like collard greens!!!
