Has this goat kidded before? If not that is a real good sign, I hope you
know the breeding date, that way you can watch her better. Also if you
place you arms around her, and your hands just under her belly, just before
her udder and lift her abdomen up and then let it drop(keeping your hands
softly on the skin, you should be able to feel a kid or two drop, and that
will usually make the kids kick too.
I doubt she will come in heat until the fall (unlesss she is a nubian, she
might) so I guess you will just have to wait and see. I have a doe due in
Aug. who is already making a little 'pouchy' udder, but doesn't look real
big.
I hope I have been of some help, I'm sure Deanna would have some good
advice.
