Hi folks,

I often get questions about Outlook Express and our mailing list digests
and attachments. I can assure you that the list server here follows the
International standards of the Internet, whereas Outlook does things the
"Microsoft way". So Outlook users have the hassle of fixing things to
make list attachments work. )-:

Gayle outlined the steps to make Outlook Express work:

All: Here is the setup I went through to get the digest sections to
work IN Outlook Express as *real email messages*.

Follow these steps:

Go to My Computer
Select Menu items View/Folder Options
Select Tab "File Types"
Click New Type
Description: EZM Digests
Association/extension: .ezm
Content Type: message/rfc822
Default extension: .eml

Action: click New
fill in Action: open
fill in Application: "C:PROGRAM FILESOUTLOOK EXPRESSMSIMN.EXE"
/eml:%1

Please be sure to use the Search link on the web-access to the Moderator
list
archives at welovegod.org/digests/moderator/ezmlm.cgi
where you can search for the word "attachment" to find solutions like this
in the future. If you don't find an answer there, please do ask!
