I may have already mentioned, but when dh and I went to the lake on May 21 for our anniversary on the 22nd, he had to brush ICE off the boat that morning 🙂 The lake is about 2 1/2 hours from us and at a much lower elevation, but the water was only 55 degrees. I think the air temp hit high 80s while we were there, but it wasn't overly hot.Oh, a belated happy anniversary to Heather and Tom! I believe your anniversary was around ours.We are still having cooler temps and some rain. We haven't even set up our pool yet as it's been cloudy and cool. There are lots of apples on our trees but just a few cherries. Frost got our pears and peaches AGAIN. Kids are busy and doing well.Hope you are all having a wonderful summer!Lisa NMOn Fri, Jun 2, 2017 at 3:39 AM, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote:Well I am sure everyone's frost is gone. blueberries too.
And to hear of a new worship sanctuary! How
wonderful! May God bless this new home of worship
and believers!
Oh, Bonnie! Ten wonderful g.grandchildren! 🙂
As far as here,we are soon to be empty nesters. My
youngest is getting the key to her first home this
weekend. Only 20! We are very proud if her. That
is three of four owning their own homes. My oldest
is still out there struggling for himself but is at
least trying to do it on his own. Holding a job and
room of his own for a while now.
How's the homesteading front?
