Re: Julie- goat needing help

Posted by: dabanks <dabanks@...>

Jaqui, Wow, that is some interesting email. Sure seems like she has worms
even though I have done alot of wormin around here. I had no idea we were
suppose to use 3 times the amount of safe guard paste that is recommended! I
am bringing a fecal sample to the vet today. They will be able to give me
some answers as far as worms. Isn't it funny that the rest of them look
good. I have 13 goats all together, everyone else looks perfect, nice coats,
bright eyes, very active and goaty acting. THe llama's and sheep are with
the goats too and they all look perfectly fine and great, especially
compared to how bad them poor sheep looked when I got them. Thanks again
Jacqui for being my help in all of this. I will keep you posted as to what
the vet says and hopefully with all this help I will be able to get her
pulled through this. This is a real humbling experience for me because I
have always prided myself on how well kept my critters are. Lessons learned
I guess. Thanks, Julie
