I make flavored vinegars, using gallon containers of store bought white
vinegar and adding different things to it. Adding sliced or smashed up
apples to plain vinegar (bring it just to a boil, remove from heat) pour
into quart size jars, put cap on it and letting it set in a cool dark place
for 3-4 weeks, then strain it and pour into clean containers and seal.Jodi
