No, Quemado Lake is on the other side of the state. Does Seth's family live in New Mexico or is Chaparral in Texas? I pray they find him! Did they get caught in a storm when they were hopping from island to island?
On Sunday, at another New Mexico lake near my in-laws, a downburst with 80-90 mph winds destroyed several RVs and broke windows out of vehicles and homes. I think our whole state had some wild weather this weekend. My family encountered another storm yesterday but they were off the lake before it got bad.
We just got home a little bit ago. Found 9/10ths of an inch of rain in our rain gauge. It must have rained hard as we have ruts in our running track and gravel all over it.
We had a lot of fun with my extended family, but it's good to be back home especially since it's only around 60 degrees and drizzling 🙂 Lisa NM
Lisa, is this anywhere near you? The one boy, Seth, is the son of an online friend of mine. 🙁 It is not looking good.
