When I sold the Pioneer Maid 2 years ago the stoves were $1000 with the
shelf, without the reservoir or warming closet. It was $100 extra for the
reservoir and another $100 for the warming closet. My friend Nancy bought
her Baker's Choice, also made by Pioneer Made for $600 delivered at that
time. Nancy just took delivery last week on two new baker's choices and
these came in at $700. She said she was told the next shipment would be
$750 each. That the stoves are going up in price. If you have been quoted
$1200 for the larger Pioneer Maid and that includes delivery...then that's a
good price. Sometimes they charge an extra $100 - $150 for delivery. I've
sold 20 of these stoves in the past and they are excellent. I sold my used
Pioneer Made in TN for $1000 and sold it within a week of advertising it.
