Our one and only son, also soon to be 17 (10-12), has a deep interest in
antique John Deere tractors. To date he has restored 3. It is his dream to
farm with us but we want him to have a "back up" plan in case farming
doesn't work out. It is very difficult getting him to do his school work
but if we are able to relate it to his tractors then he is interested. His
science classes are a piece of cake to him because of his understanding of
engines and electricity. I know exactly what all of you are talking about
with your sons. Some day he will make someone a wonderful husband but in
the meantime it is trying times with mom. LOL
