Lisa, do you think you will need surgery? Wasn't it your hubby that had surgery on his hand?   That would be strange if so.....what are y'all doing ?! 😊.

Thanks for praying for us and this little girl. It will be very difficult and our life is peaceful right now.....am I being a lazy Christian?   Hmmmm.this little girl who will be 9 was Willow's crib mate but Willow got adopt about a year before Anna. This killed little Anna. I know this because of the woman from Charlotte who works in her orphanage. She has a lot of behavioral problems. I want what is Gods will.
I want what is best for my family and this little one.

I can sure relate to living in a prolonged drought and having concerns of wildfires. We had one significant snow storm and have some lesser snow amounts along with a little rain. Overall though, we're still in a drought. Today, in my mom's town, it was 76-80 degrees!

I went to her house Sunday while dh and the four teens went to Angel Fire Ski Resort for three days of snowboarding. I enjoyed being with my mom, but it's also good to be back home again.

Today, I had an MRI on my thumb to see if a tendon or ligament is ruptured. I hurt it in September, and it's still painful. If anything needs to be repaired, I will be seeing the doctor that performed dh's wrist and elbow surgeries.

Our family has made contact with Celeste’s birth mother for the first time in 37 years. It has been positive so far. I have always thought of her as a 16-year-old girl. Now she is a 53-year-old woman with grandchildren of her own.

We got another little rain, but the ground is so thirsty that the little creeks still aren’t running. We are in our 4th year of drought and I have never seen so many dead pine trees. Our main concern is fire danger next summer. 40-some homes and buildings were destroyed about a week ago by a wildfire here in California—and it is only February.

I will be praying for you and your hubby to have wisdom and discernment regarding Anna. I believe God will speak clearly to both of your hearts sharing His perfect will and giving you peace.

Also, while we are praying continuously for Marci, we need to continue to lift each other in prayer as well. Marci wants us to remain knitted together, sharing our ups and downs and enjoying fellowship with each other. So, all of you ladies, please post and share on this list like we've always done. None of us will forget for a moment that Marci is fighting a battle, but let's be in prayer for other battles as well. Most importantly, let's keep praising the Lord on here for who He is and all He's done for us!

Ladies, Please pray for us. I don't if you remember years ago me helping Willows crib mate find a home here neat us. Well this family is now going to disrupt (which means they are going to give her for adoption). sigh. this poor little one. She has already been through 2 horrible abandonments and I just hope this one does not completely destroy her. We are getting together with them as they have asked us first if we would like to adopt her. River ( hubby) is completely up for it and we will see. I have filed for health insurance for the girls but have to wait to see if we can afford it. I also want to see how she interacts with the girls. I know she is going to have some bad habits as she has not been loved and adored. She yearns for attention. They call her Anna and she is about 4 months older than Willow so it will be virtual twins. My children are trained to be obedient and I am with them 24/7 so they don't have a lot of bad habits and are obedient.

Pray for discernment and wisdom for us to make the right decision on this. My heart is broken for her. I just want to do what is right.

I almost didn't say anything as all I can think about is saving every pray for Marci but hopefully you can slip one in there for us as well.
