Re: re: aware of modesty

I am probably out of the sync here with perceptions of modesty, but i do
not feel that any particular style equals modesty. i have seen plenty of
"immodest" dresses IMO, that :"flatter the figger" worn by adies who are
into dresses and modest pants outfits by others. A dear aunt of mine who
is 75 and very lively is always very modest, but also softly attractive
whether she is in dresses or not. being on a farm, often dresses are a
pain and dangerous, and we may dress a bit less than modest around here,
but not provocative!
i do think we should respect personal sense of comfort, my most modest
daugher is not a floofy dress person, she prefers more tailored plain
dress, NOTHING flashy, she is a very conservative dresser, but does not
like ruffles and extra material.when she wears pants she is modest.unless
one is personally convicted of a particular "unifrom" style of dress, the
issue should not be style rather than modest and unprovocative behavior.

"It must be obvious that liberty necessarily means freedom to choose
foolishly as well as wisely;
freedom to choose evil as well as good;freedom to suffer the rewards of
good judgment, and freedom to suffer the penalties of bad judgment. If
this is not true, the word ~FREEDOM~ has no meaning."
