We must be twins or clones or something Angie! I really enjoyed reading the
Ellie series and I'm not a fiction reader at all. Her books are great! We
are also using Pathways and reading Wisdom and the Millers right now. I read
it with my 6 and 4 1/2 year old daughters. I first read this to my sons many
years ago when they were young. I will also read it to my two toddler boys
when they are ready to sit and listen. I don't think I have heard of
Proverbs and the Millers...is it a new one? We have Prudence and the
Millers, Storytime with the Millers and Missionary Stories with the Millers.
I have most of the Pathways stuff too and we're using their
preschool/Kindergarten stuff right now. We also have Christian Liberty Press
stuff too. Right now, I'm waiting on a new Rod & Staff catalog as I haven't
ordered anything new in quite a while but would like to see what's
available. Another series I enjoy reading is written by Carrie Bender, can't
think of the titles, but they are set in Amish/Mennonite communities. I
think some of them are in the young adult fiction section at the library and
others are in adult fiction, but they are very wholesome and enjoyable.Oh, I just last week visited the anabaptist site of Mark Roth's and signed
up to receive his email messages. I also found some good links on there, I
think, to modest clothing sites including one or two that list stuff people
want to give away, a modest clothing exchange I think it was.Glad to hear someone else enjoys the things I do!
Blessings in Him,
Lisa
