Hi Jenn,
You can keep him comfortable by letting him have a bath now and then just to
cool off, his body will still work on fighting the virus. Also
fluids,fluids fluids. Most of the time the battle goes on in our mucous
membranes, and this is also how the body rids it self of disease. Warm tea,
with honey as much as he would want would be great. Elderberries are great
for helping the body fight off viruses. I plan to plant some so I can have
elderberry syrup on hand to sweeten a cup of tea when we are under the
weather.
Do be careful though, babies and young children can go down hill fast. If
the temperature starts to climb you may need to take a different approach.
