Re: Teriyaki recipe

Posted by: G-Rennie <G-Rennie@...>

LOL, Serena. I am such a mixture of Scotch, Irish, English and who know
what else.
I was named after my Great-grand mother, have no idea where her name
came from.
As a child I was a little bit embarrassed by my name because no one had
heard of it. Now, that I am much older I have grown to love my name.
I have only known two of three other Serenas in my life but now have a
two year old granddaughter named Sarah Serena.

What nationally are you and do you know where your name came from? Do
you pronounce your name Serene-na? I have been told that this is a
Spanish name, but I really don't know for sure.
I have been lurking here for months and love this group, but don't post.
I am a Grannie and don't have any amimals, just grandkids. 🙂
