When cabin fever hits here in my never done renovated camp house, I step
outside to feed the ducks or do the chickens and look up at the tall pines
that are covered with a light layer of snow. I listen~to nothing~something.
It's peace. Maybe the geese fly over, maybe it's the time stillness feels
secure. For me, the quiet and stillness doesn't make me feel alone. Just
looking around reminds me that I'm not enjoying this alone.
