Re: Travelling in Israel

Posted by: dhaley <dhaley@...>

Pat you are such a blessing. Thank you for having a prayer put into the
wall for David. Some friends of ours put one in there for him last week
too.

I know he's in God's hands and God has protected him many times. God has
given me total peace about David being there no matter what happens. My
husband was able to spend 4 hours witnessing to 4 of his fellow workers on
this project team on this trip during their layover of their flight to
Israel. They said they wanted to go with him to a Messianic congregation on
Mt. Carmel and Dave was so excited. Yet, on Sabbath security confined them
to the hotel. It's interesting to note that 4 additional members of the
team were already waiting for them when the arrived in Israel. Those people
are leaving tomorrow but the 4 David witnessed too are remaining with him
through the weekend. Dave is going to try again to get them to go with him.
I believe they will try the congregation in Netanya UNLESS trouble erupts
that prevents them from doing so. God has been so good. I can't tell you
how many people have called from our church to encourage me while he's been
on this trip. They've not called when he's been on other trips? He is
scheduled to go back to Israel the first of November. Many have said that
God has awakend them in the night to pray for David. They have all said the
same thing, they have the distinct feeling when they pray that David is
there on God's work as well as his regular job. He has been there 7 times
in the past two years. He's never gotten sick. He's been very ill this
trip. When I spoke with him this morning he said he was feeling almost
normal. I know it's due to the prayers of my friends on this list, family
and church.

Blessings....Deanna
