Thanks so much for asking. Our house has sold. We close on the 15th of
Feb. We are waiting on hearing about our financing on the new property.
The bank reviews it on Tuesday. We are praying that it goes smoothly, as
God has just had His hand on this whole thing. We have been able to share
with many people, about the miracles God has brought. We are also praying
that the people in the new house get out in plenty of time and not just on
the 15th. They said they could possibly be gone by the end of this month,
which we would LOVE. However, they seem to be last minute in everything.
Also, they have not given us an inventory of the store stock, so we have not
done anything with that end of it yet. We are waiting on God's leading
there. I am packing like crazy. This will truly be a bittersweet move for
me. I LOVE the house we are living in and the area. I am sure I will love
the new one too. We had our last 4-H meeting up here. I was the advisor
and Joshua was the president. It was hard to walk away from. We started
that club and it is doing great. It is all Christian Homeschoolers and in
our first year, we really have a good name with the county. It was hard for
Joshua. He has also met a friend around the corner from us. Nathan is a
bit younger, but they got along really well. He has expressed his sorrow
about leaving that family behind as well. I know that these 2 are big
things to Joshua, as he does not usually voice that sort of thing. He is
thrilled about the move though. He is a big part of the reason, we are
making the move. The new property has a workshop for him. The barns have
electricity, etc. However, it is the severing of ties that is hard. We
will not be that far from what is up here, but we don't get out much and we
will have the store to tie us down as well. I am sure this is WAY more than
you wanted to know. =)
