We need more prayer here. Yesterday, after all the crazy contact from Marissa and her fit throwing, I ended up telling Marissa that she and I have nothing more to debate because she is using me as her manipulation focal point and trying to divert my attention from all the other children with her antics. She was suppose to come here today and spend the day with the boys while we went to Nashville to see a concert that was a present for Shannon for her birthday. It was snowing down in Chattanooga the first time we were suppose to go so this was a make-up concert for her. We were all very excited.

 I got a call from Marissa at 6am this morning. She is at the hospital today after last night telling a friend what "her Mom did" , taking a bunch of pills and a bunch of beer , calling that friend, leaving the door open and passing out. Police, ambulance etc...This is probably the 10 or 11 time (not even sure) she's done something along these lines in the past 10 years. It always is in response to someone pulling themselves out of the "game" she needs to play. I realize this sounds very cold, but to be honest, I am dead inside at this point. I am praying, repenting for my feelings of detachment, but needing focus. Beyond the anger we're dealing with from our children, we are also dealing with logistical issues here. One of which is that she is telling the hospital that she needs to go because she has to take care of her kids at her parents house because we want to go out and have fun.:-/ Obviously that's ridiculous. We are probably looking at dhs showing up sometime this week at my door. I have to tell you that being a homeschooling family in a homeschool hostile town ,living across the street from the local middle school is stressful enough...but this...I just want to pass out really.

 We've spoken to Marissa twice this morning, she seems fine but we don't know the condition of her liver..I suspect they will keep her at least 24 hours. Prayer for the Lord's will for her please. Please pray for my children and grandchildren. And please pray for the Lord's wisdom for us as parents.

 Anyway...prayer is needed desperately here.
