We are having something similar to a concert of prayer time in the evening. We will have a well known judge sharing his testimony, some worship, and the reading of an essay on prayer (it won the state NDP essay contest for highschoolers) all interspersed with prayer for local and national leaders. We have also done a Bible reading marathon where the Bible was read around the clock for three days. Enough time to read the entire Bible through. We have also had prayer times downtown at noon. The mayor and maybe one other person spoke briefly. A children's choir from a local Christian school sang and most of all we prayed. Different pastor's would lead different portions of the prayer. The National Day of Prayer task force has many resources and ideas available.Hope this helps!
