We were studying the rapture in our Men’s Breakfast yesterday morning at our church.  Dr. Jimmy DeYoung discussed the coalition of nations after the rapture (Ezek. 38).  I began to think about where does America fit in the scheme of end time events.  The Bible doesn’t mention America specifically. I’ve often wondered why? Today America has a major role in the affairs of the world, but not after the rapture.  What happens to reduce America’s influence in world events?

I have an idea.  Consider this:  When God raptures all His people from earth, which nation will be effected the most?  Obviously the United States!   I believe there are more Christians per capita in the U.S. than any other country on earth.  That means when the rapture takes place, a vast number of Christians in the U.S. will be gone. The disappearance of multitudes of Christians in America will greatly cripple our country leaving it in a very vulnerable condition. Think of what America will be like without a single true Christian left.  The salt and light will be gone, leaving America in darkness and without anything thing to hold back the poison of sin.  It won’t be long and it will be assimilated into the kingdom of antichrist.

Just my guess.  Hope you’re ready for the rapture! It could happen at anytime!
