Re: Fw: My son Issac - A "WARM, FUZZY" FROM MY BROTHER ART

God is wonderful, and is present even in the penitentiary. May God continue to seek and save the lost in these places. God has allowed me to see a number of people come to Christ at the local jail when I was involved with the Gideons. What a pleasure to see God work in the lives of people who have come to the end of their rope and see the hope Christ offers to them, not to mention the fact that they see the love of those willing to enter that atmosphere to minister in the name of Christ.Brian La Croix

After we at Washington Correctional prayed for an hour and a half, along with many others throughout the nation, he came over to me and hugged me.
Now Issac (this is how he spells it) is about six feet tall and a broad shouldered 19 year old. He bent over and hugged me and said, "You know Art, I love you so much."
I replied "I love you too, Issac"Then he added, "It is through you that I heard the Gospel, I mean really heard it! And I love you for that." By this time I was tearing up and I added "Issac a few guys get real close to me, and I call them my sons and your one of them." He smiled a huge smile, and I added "You're my son because God gave me the privilege of watching as you accepted Christ as you Lord and Savior and were born again!"
Sometimes the places that God puts us is not where we expect to go BUT, the out come of GOING is truly terrific.
I apologize for talking about my kids, but I had to tell someone!
Thanks for being there for me too!
I thank God for the people who organized the National Day of Prayer, a job well done.
