I do not believe that we can preach the gospel if we do not preach justification by faith, without works. Nor unless we preach the sovereignty of God in the dispensation of grace. Nor unless we exalt the electing, unchangeable, eternal, immutable, conquering love of Jehovah. Nor do I think we can preach the gospel, unless we base it upon the particular redemption which Christ made for His elect and chosen people. Nor can I comprehend a gospel which lets saints fall away after they are called.

We went through a strategic planning seminar provided by our state convention not too long ago. If you are a SBC church you might be able to utilize the resources available from your state convention. Some of the books that I have gleaned from are Advanced Strategic Planning by Aubrey Malphurs (Baker Books, 1999), The ABC's of Natural Church Development by Christian A. Schwartz available through ChurchSmart Resources. If you give me a few days I can send you some in depth answers to your questions. Probably Monday. I will send them to the list.
