I question whether the defenses of the gospel are not sheer impertinences. The gospel does not need defending. If Jesus Christ is not alive and cannot fight His own battles, then Christianity is in a bad state. But He is alive, and we have only to preach His gospel in all its naked simplicity, and the power that goes with it will be the evidence of its divinity.

Greetings,


A look back on my part revealed that I didn't understand a couple things.


1.  What I have, money, house, cars, ect.are the fruits of my labor, but it's thru God I received the blessings I did.  Stewardship


2.  Being faithful in tithing is not only a commandment, but as we're told, God blesses us many times over when we are faithful. 


3.  I didn't think I could afford to tithe. See #2, Also, I didn't want too.
