My app formats American or Canadian 10 digit phone numbers correctly ( i.e. "(aaa)-sss-cccc" ) but I need to format other countries ( Spain, Mexico, UK, OZ, NZ, France and Germany ).A public domain version of libphonenumber ( from Google originally ) translated for iOS using Swift ( here ) apparently is a great framework solution but I don't know how to adapt Swift packages( which is what it uses ) to Objective-C frameworks ( I haven't investigated - lazy me ).If someone can give me a tutorial for phone number formatting in those other countries or if you know of another framework( or know how to use Swift packages ), please shout.for those interested: this little app shows what interactive phone number formatting looks like ( USA phone numbers only ): http://www.brilorsoftware.com/fb/apps/formatphone.zip
macOS provides users Date and Time formatting preferences in System Preferences but sadly there isn't a phone number formatter.--
