Your telling of Steffanie's situation reminds me of something that once happened to a dear friend of mine.
The circumstances are nearly identical, but the blessing of what took place was proof that God is ever
in control and that Jeremiah 29:11 is so true.
They were forced to leave their home early like your friends and forced to "hit the road" only to find themselves
in the right place at the right moment. If they had left their home at the first planned date, the husband would
have missed a job interview that turned out to be perfect for him and his family. They even found a house
that was put up for rent on the very day they drove into town, it was outside city limits, fenced for goats and
had all the right rooms, and cheap rent. It would have been snapped up by someone else, if they hadn't
been forced out of their house that few days early and forced to head off on the very day they had to.
So perhaps Gods plans are similar for Steffanie and her family, and even if they are not, and more trials come,
they can be all counted as blessings, as it tells us in James.
May God bless us all and keep us faithful to HIS plans.
