UPDATE: And, I'm afraid it's not a good one.
Rod just got ANOTHER phone call. Seems Ember's dad had a stroke during physical therapy today and is now in the hospital in Gig Harbor, Washington. If you're keeping track, this is now 3 separate hospitals, 3 separate sides of the family and all within 18 hours.
Guys- this is when true prayer warriors truly have to STAND AND FIGHT.
More when I have it.

I know Rod will not mind me sharing this on lists and with some of you in some detail.Last night, while Rod's dad and stepmom were packing their motor home for their annual trip to Arizona for the winter, Rod's stepmom fell and broke her hip. She was taken to a hospital in Bremerton where she had a good night and will have surgery this afternoon. She is in good health and is expected to do pretty well.A few minutes ago, however, Rod's sister called him to tell him that his stepfather had fallen off the porch of his home in Port Orchard, Washington. He's 80, and he landed on his head. Pretty sever concussion, broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder. This is really not good. At this point, I'm not sure of his disposition, but for an 80 year old, this is not something anyone could be prepared for.Please be in active prayer for Rod, Ember and his family.I will update as things come to light.--
