Cool - it's a rewarding experience if you can get past the enormous investment in tools, materials, and skills growth. All that remains to be done then is to develop an aesthetically pleasing design that's both ergonomic and able to be fabricated in a time frame that allows you to break even at the end of the week.Back when Gary was cleaning out his shop (long after he'd stopped building), I purchased his remaining IP (patterns, templates, assembly jigs, drawings, CAD data, etc ...) so that his designs wouldn't disappear, and to have the ability to accurately make replacement parts for any of the 7 Watts basses I owned at the time. There are a couple cool things Gary did that have been reworked into features on my own designs. Most of these you'd never see unless you're building or working final assembly. If I ever decide to offer a neck-thru design, you can bet that Gary's work will have a significant influence on what I offer.all the best,RRespectfully,Rod Banach
