Hello!
I have been sewing since I was a young girl. When I needed to buy a new
sewing machine I asked several professional seamstresses what brand of
machine they used. Each of them happened to have a Sears' Kenmore. I bought
one (at least 6 or 7 years ago) and have loved it!!! It is simple (ie not
computerized) and has always gotten the job done whether it was making
curtains, slipcovers or a First Communion dress. I think I paid about
$100.00 for it (on sale). Good luck!
