Michael had to run to town last night. He stopped at the bank on the way home to drop off a deposit. There was a wallet laying in the driveway of the bank. He picked it up and brought it home. He was in a hurry to get here and finish chores. He gave the wallet to me and told me to try and find the owner. There were lots of cards of all sorts and pictures. Then buried inside one of the pockets I found the driver's license. I looked him up in the phone book and called and left a message. We figured he had gone back to look for his wallet. We did not get a call last night and it really surprised us. I got a call this morning from his daughter-in-law. She told me that his wife is in a hospital down in Columbus. She has cancer. They called him and told him she was going to emergency surgery last night. He had stopped at the bank on the way. She is picking up his wallet this morning and taking it and his
medications he forgot down to him. I want to be praying for this man and his wife. I am glad it was Michael who found the wallet.
Also, after watching the "how-to" video and talking to Marion (Rachel in OH's daughter), I decided to try a practice shawl on the smallest setting. I got started last night. The picture is below. By the way, Rachel, you have a great picture of you and that baby's 3 older sisters. Can I post it on here?
