Actually, I hadn't planned on having much, if any RPG elements in the war
game.

Well, you can't have two "good" armies fighting each other 😉

Not necessarily, combined Shield of Faith at least partially protects
LightRaiders in normal dragon combat.

One way to avoid that problem is to have a limitation that LightRaiders can
only fight with Once Born, and against Dark Creatures.

These would have to be severely limited because of their great power. Since
they really do not have stats yet, we can make an angel equal to a dragon,

Yes, this area can be greatly expanded.
