EdenAgain, that God only created the human race. First of all, we only
know so much about this undiscovered world. Dick Wulf and friends only
gave us so much info at the beginning. Part of our journey (yes, it is a
discipleship tool, but it is also a game) is exploring this world and
learning about it, ourselves, and God's design for us. It would be wrong
to say elves and dwarves and halflings exist, but say that they are not
people (created in the image of God). We dont' know that, one way or the
other.According to the DR text, we can assume that the parent races of the dark
creatures were created in the image of the OverLord, after all, the good
people kicked the fallen ones off of their planets. So the game already
assumes the existence of multiple races of people, some of whom are
redeemable. One problem that I see in the text is that the "good guys"
made a deal with the Red Dragon to send their criminals to EdenAgain.
They should not have done that, they are directly cooperating with evil. And, dwarves, elves and the like are not a stretch here, especially since
the text mentions them as other "good" beings. I read that as either
good as a race or of a redeemable nature, the latter is more likely. So, if there are other redeemable races, having nonhuman LightRaiders is
not a stretch either. I guess the question is still whether to
officially allow it or not.Joe
