Greetings in the Name of Jesus !Two things that I have done that helped keep me warm in the winter was to buy
some of that fabric that nighties are made of. Silky on one side and flannel on
the other side and made slips of it. You don't end up with your skirt or dress
sticking to you, since the silky side is on the outside. The fabric is kinda costy
but it has lasted me for a long long time. I make them full slips. I have made
my girls such slips using nighties that I got from a thrift store. Just make some
changes around the neck and the arm holes.
I also wear those tight work out pants that are mostly cotton and use the wool
knee socks from L.L. Bean. They are bulky knit and stay up well, especially when
you wear them over the pants.
Oh one more thing I have for winter is the long sleeve cotton undershirts you can
get from Gohn bothers. They run small so order a couple sizes larger than normal.
I wear them under my blouce or sweatshirt and feel so cozy.
I own three denim skirts and two nicer skirts and two dresses, that is all I have in
my closet. I wear them all year long, just change what I wear under them.
Its not real cold here, but I lived in more than half my life in Massachusetts and
know all about cold !seeking to please Him,
Pat
