I did subscribe to ideal-central at one time. Then several months ago (?)
when they were having so much trouble with their auto-responder, I canceled
my subscription and had not heard anything about them until I received your
message and another one today!!

Three observations:
1) The reason this individual had not received anything was because no one was
sending any messages. Idea-Central was intended to be a sharing resource,
where the various individuals would share their sermon ideas, illustrations,
poetry, verifiable statistics, etc. The concept of Idea-Central is a good one;
however, it is only as good as those who contribute to it. For many months,
there were only two or three of us (from more than three hundred) who
contributed anything on a regular basis. Even we got tired of giving and
giving with nothing being received in return--so we dropped off our
contributions as well.
2) As far as I know (and I'm the moderator) there has not been a problem with
an "auto-responder." I just wonder if this individual has somehow confused
Idea-Central with some other list.
3) Anyone may unsubscribe at any time by following the directions which are
included at the bottom of *every* message sent through Idea-Central:
To unsubscribe, send ANY message to
[email protected]
However, this MUST be sent from the address originally subscribed.
