Well, I had the chance to try one at the Guitar
Center at San Marcos yesterday and I can say I
was NOT impressed. It did OK with a 4 string (no
better than a Crate amp) but lost it with a 5.
Obviously, I could not get it as loud as I
wanted, but it was quiet (!) and I could crank it
up a little. I much preferred the Mesa Scout
combo I tried to the Bose for tone and volume.
This product seems to be just another mediocre
Bose product that they hype far past it's worth!
